Walk With Me

Walk With Me is a charity walk and fundraising event organised by HCA Hospice to raise awareness of, and normalise conversations around, palliative care through the celebration of life. The event also seeks to raise much-needed funds to sustain HCA’s programmes, which provide care and support for terminally ill patients who choose to spend their final days at home, as well as their families, who are closely involved in their care.

We often describe the care and support of terminally ill patients as a journey that the care team takes alongside the patient and their family, pacing with them and supporting them as they move towards the finishing line. Through Walk With Me, we invite you to join us on this journey to support our beneficiaries in creating good days. Every step you take mirrors the steps our patients and care teams take each day. Just as your walk may bring moments of challenge, reflection, and meaning, so too does the end-of-life journey. As you walk, discover the many stories of lives well lived that our patients have shared with us along the way.

To cater to Singapore’s rapidly ageing population, the demand for home hospice care is expected to increase significantly. As Singapore’s largest home hospice care provider, it is imperative for HCA to not only expand our capacity but also reimagine the delivery of home hospice care, in order to fulfil our mission of providing compassionate care to end-of-life patients and their families in the comfort of their own homes.
